Meet Galiya
I grew up in Kazakhstan, in a family of artists, surrounded from a young age by everything from sculpture to painting. But it was always the delicate wonders of Kazakh jewellery that I found most beautiful. That love brought me to London, where I trained at the British Academy of Jewellery and learned to bring my designs to life, combining the traditions of Central Asia with modern materials and techniques. Today I create each piece by hand, from first sketch to final polish, offering a personal approach and jewellery made to be treasured.
Signature pieces
Made to measure, depending on finger size The Family Ring is made in silver or 18 karat white gold. The inspiration for this piece was the traditional Kazakh ‘Otau-Zhuzik’ ring, which is given by a mother-in-law to the newly married bride. The design is based on the shape of a yurt and represents the new couple’s future life and how they will build their new home and family.
Rings occupy a special place in Central Asian women’s jewellery. Magical properties have been attributed to them since ancient times, and many still believe that rings have powers to protect against evil spirits. It is still typical to see two, three or more rings on a hand of a Kazakh woman.

Inspired by the works of Henri Matisse, the pendant is made from a choice of silver or 18 karat white gold and an option to beset with 15 white diamonds. The chain comes in silver or 18 karat gold to match the pendant.
This pendant measures 20mm in diameter the chain is 18 inches.

Sustainable
Sustainability is at the heart of Galiya jewellery creative and production process. Thanks to our use of modern design techniques, barely any waste is created and cut-offs from castings are recycled into raw materials for other unique pieces.
Made In London
Each Galiya masterpiece is crafted in our London atelier. From design concept to final polishing, every piece is designed, hand-crafted and finished to perfection before leaving the workshop. Galiya herself is directly involved in each phase and is renowned for her eye for precision.
