My Story

With her passion for fine art and natural talent in jewellery design, Galiya has journeyed from her home country, Kazakhstan, to London. Some of her most treasured designs combine the exquisite traditions of Central Asia with the creative energy of London.

“When I moved to the United Kingdom, I found myself falling in love with jewellery-making. Back at home – the beautiful country of Kazakhstan – I owned some magnificent, antique Central Asian jewellery pieces. I loved them so much, but they were simply not suitable for my life here in the UK. Before long, I had started experimenting with jewellery design and creation, whilst drawing upon my past artistic drawing experience.”

Galiya has always been immersed in art, ranging from sculptures to paintings. However, she has always found the most beauty in the delicate wonders of Kazakh jewellery. Using her own drawing skills and working with the high-tech CAD (computer-aided design) expertise in London, Galiya is able to bring her jewellery designs to life, beautifully incorporating authenticity with modern materials.

“Growing up in a family of famous artists meant that I was surrounded by a wide range of various types of art from a very young age, with my family encouraging my siblings and I to study Art. I have BAs in both Fine Art and International Studies and a Diploma from the British Academy of Jewellery.”

Whilst being in London, Galiya’s passion for jewellery design has been enhanced through her graduation from the prestigious BAJ (British Academy for Jewellery). Now she is creating exclusive pieces, offering one of the most personalised approaches available and creating a trail of delighted clients.
